Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is that if the music teacher students have gained enough knowledge or skills about the essential principals of science of vocal education and to find out that if they have assimilated the terminology about vocal education in order to use it in their professional language.During the research ?The Vocal Education Test? is used in order to realize the knowledge level of terms that achieved by the learners and ?Interview Form to Ones In Charge of Education? is used to find out the views of lecturers about the terminology of vocal education lesson.?The Success Test? is applied to the students of 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades who study in the music teacher department of the universities which exist in the Aegean Region in 2007-2008 Educational Term.As the result of this research, it is reached that the level of sufficiency in the terms of vocal education of music teacher students is mediocore. This sufficiency differs by sex and various universities but the kind of high schools that learners graduated from and various classes had no effect.The teachers of the universities point out that the terminology has a major existence in the part of vocal education, however there has been problems about giving the datas to the students during the lessons as because they are theoretical, the students are not able to keep them in mind.Key Words: Terminology, vocal education, sufficiency.
