Abstract (EN)

In egg production farms, some processes such as the transport of eggs, their classification and their separation according to certain criteria are carried out by the machines produced for the egg industry. Cracks and cracks can form in the eggshell as a result of the eggs being exposed to the processing process or physical external factors in these machines. Cracked or broken areas can make the egg vulnerable to disease-causing microorganisms. Therefore, the separation of cracked or broken eggs from intact eggs is a necessity for both food safety and economic losses In this study, eggs cracks were detected by using support vector machines and artifical neural network artificial intelligence methods and acoustic signals obtained from egg shell. As a result of the methods applied, the accuracy of crack detection was 0,99 for artifical neural network and 1 for support vector machines. In addition, crack detection has been done in real time with the interface program developed in LABVIEW environment.
