Abstract (EN)
In this study, the author Sevinç Çokum?s (the author) first story which is Obligue Trees (Eğik Ağaçlar) and 2000 edition of another book of her which is Crazy Times (Deli Zamanlar) have been examined.After giving information about the life and works of the author, the phrases in the relevant works have been identified. Then the sentences have been assessed according to their meanings, places, types and structures of the predicates by giving their numbers and rates.Definitions and classifications of the linguists on the subject have been presented by quoting from the relevant books and articles.Furthermore, some examples of the groups of words and sentences that fit these definitions and classifications are given.At the end of the sections, the author?s distinctive uses of phrases and sentences, which are outside the general classifications, are presented.In addition, the author's language and style have been discussed in order to reveal the literary personality of the author.Key words: Sevinç Çokum, novel, Eğik Ağaçlar, Deli Zamanlar, language and style
