Divan of Seyyid Hasan Haydar: Review-text-indice

This research consists of the transcript of the Divan of Seyyid Hasan Haydar, who is one of the 19th century poets, and the analysis of religious and sufistic elements existing in the Divan. Seyyid Hasan Haydar, the poet of this Divan which we have worked on, belongs to the religious sect of Rıfaii. So in this Divan the Rıfaii order sheikhs, Saint Ali, the Twelver and the terms of this thought constitute an important place.It is tried to display the life of poet and his art in the first part through making good use of the work?s content, becuase no information can be accessed about the life of Seyyid Hasan Haydar in the biographies and researches. In the second part, the work is handled according to its structure, language and style. In the analysis part, which is the most comprehensive part of the research, the Divan is analysed under the titles of religion and sufism. In the last part of the research the text, being transferred from the Arabian alphabet to the Latin alphabet, is displayed with the transcription signs.Key Words: Old Turkish Literature, Divan, Seyyid Hasan Haydar
