Abstract (EN)

One of the most common problems in the industry today is "wear". Wear means the repture of particles from material surface and where is friction, there is wear too. Wear is most often seee in gears, nail tips of backhoe tools, agricultural machinery, internal surfaces of corrosive liquit or gas passing pipes and many places where the friction force high. Because of the fact that is often an expensive method to replace the machine parts that become ususable with wear, coating technology is developed. With coating both wearable surfaces can be filled with reinforcing materials and wear can be avoided by using wear resistant hard reinforcement materials. In this study, coating on low carbon steel plate has been produced with Nano-WC and Nano-SiC supplemenet and by using laser welding method. The review of microstructure investigations of produced coating, wear and microhardness tests and SEM-EDS analysis have been performed. In this study the effect of Nano- WC and Nano- SiC supplement on coatings that had been produced with laser welding method has been examined.
