Abstract (EN)

Yılıkoğlu Süleyman Ağa is local notable of Silistre and Deliorman region, he began to be mentioned in the documents with the date of 1792 when the mountain bandits emerged. In the last decade of the 18th century, it continued until the end of this century that it carried out its own baldness activities with the mountaineer bandits. In the 18th century, this process continued with his being local notable and "mütesellim" at Silistra the establishment of the municipality of Silistra in 1801. After 1801, he first started fighting with Rusçuk Ayan Tirsiniklioglu Ismail Aga. In addition, Tirsiniklioglu's man, Pehlivan İbrahim Aga fighting influence. Later on, Tiraziniklioglu passed a short struggle with Alemdar Mustafa Aga, who replaced his death. By the death of Alemdar, he returned to Silistre and remained a Silistre singer until his death. Besides these fights, he joined 1806-1812 Ottoman-Russian War. During the war, There have been many disobedience as well as benefits in favor of the Ottomans. After the Ottoman-Russian war, he escaped to Russia and took refuge there because of the death penalty. As a result of the correspondences made by envoy Italinski, Yılıkoğlu Süleyman Ağa, who was sent to the Ottoman lands again, started to hide on the side of Shumen. It was later abolished in 1813 by the presence of Shumen Ayan Çavuşzade Hasan Ağa.
