Singular semi Riemannian almost contact manifolds

Contact manifolds in manifold theory have a very important place. The geometry of contact manifolds, which constitute the basis for symplectic manifolds are made with the help of one dimensional manifolds. Both contact and simplectic manifolds could find the area for applications in classical mechanics. In contact metric structures, changing the structure of the metric, many different classes of contact manifolds have been identified. However, very few studies, on geometry of degenerate (singular) metric manifolds and special classes of such manifolds are made before. In this context, new areas were brought to the manifold theory with this thesis. In the prepared thesis, in the light of the some previous works, giving the definition of singular semi riemannian almost contact manifolds, has examined some curvature properties of these manifolds and also has focused on geometric structures of Singuler Semi-Riemannian Almost Sasakian manifolds which are a special class of such manifolds.
