Abstract (EN)
In this study, electromagnetic pollution level of Sinop City Center has been researched at the range of 50-3500 MHz band frequency. Electromagnetic pollution had been measured 60 times (30 times during the nights and 30 times during the day time) at each of 46 different checkpoints where coordinates were determined by GPS. As a result of this study, electromagnetic field pollution in Sinop city center was determined to be lower than the limit values established by ICTA (Information and Communication Technologies Authority). The average values were calculated by the computer using the measured data during study. These average values were used to establish a range of values which were represented by different colors based on the strength of the pollution. The obtained values had been compared to international and national limit values with the intention of providing data and resource.
