Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to evaluate to what extant senior managers of non-governmental organizations have done strategic leadership implementations. Strategic leadership implementations are made up of six dimensions like determining the strategic direction of the firm, determining the core competencies, developing the human capital, u sing the new technologies effectively, forming a sustainable effective organization culture and checking the strategic leadership activities effectively. Within this research, as a non-governmental organization carrying out operations on an international scale nine Turkish charities were involved. In the research, qualitative research method was used. The data of the research was collected by semi-structured interviewing with senior managers from each firm. Obtained data were analyzed using descriptive analysis technique. In conclusion, it was understood that the senior managers of Turkish Charities have applied the strategic leadership implementations partially as a non-governmental organizations. Additionally, the senior managers of Turkish Charities have not applied a significant part of the strategic leadership implementations in a planned manner and according to emerging situations tended to the strategic leadership implementations were observed.
