Abstract (EN)

Sivrihisar, which is thebiggestone of Eskişehir'sotherfourteendistricts, is located 92 km awaytothetown. Elevenneighborhood of othertwenty-two in thedistrict is placed in urban protectedareaforworkingand it standsoutwithtraditionalhousingpatternandhistoricalconstructions. Inthisstudydiscussingtraditionalhousing of Sivrihisar, on-site observations, analysis, fieldsurveyandliteraturereviewaremadeforevaluatingsidefeatures of houses. Inanalysissheets, Reconstruction Plan forProtectionMapsobtainedfromMunicipalityareusedbyimproving. As a result of theseanalysisandevaluations, typologicaldataoccuredbyspecifyingcommomfeatures of traditionalhousesides. Thisthesis in thisdirectionaremadeup of fivesectionsincludingintroductions. Thegoal, extentandmethods of thesisstudyarementioned in firstsection. Insecondsection, it is mentioned of Sivrihisar's general features, historicalpatternsandmonumentalconstructions. Inthirdsection, sideelements of traditional Sivrihisar housesandusedmaterialfeaturesareexplained. Inforthsection, subtittlesareoccuredbymakingtypologicalanalysis of houses' sidearchitecture. Infifthsection, all of theregisteredhousesbeing in theborders of protectedareasareexamined in theneighborhoodareaandeveryhouses' sidetypologyaredefinedwiththehelp of tablesandmaps. Inthelastsection, it is approachedtothemostcommonsidefeatures at neighborhoodsandtown'ssidetypologywiththeresultsobtainedfrom alla data.
