Abstract (EN)
This study aims to reveal the factors affecting the businessmen in Turkey to take political corporate social responsibility. Factors that affect the Companies to carry out Political Corporate Social Responsibility activities differ according to the conditions of the country in which they operate and the organizational structure of the companies themselves. There is yet no consensus about the definition and the scope of the political corporate social responsibility. This study begins with mentioning the academic publication about the corporate social responsibility and its history, and continues with analyzing how Political Corporate Social Responsibility came out and finally a literature review about the development of Political Corporate Social Responsibility in Turkey is done. Final chapter analyzes the data sets collected from memoirs of important Turkish businessmen with Thematic Analysis methodology and seven themes were defined as factors affecting the businessmen to carry out Political Corporate Social Responsibility.
