Abstract (EN)
With the increasing importance given to human beings and behaviors as a social entity in recent years, human based research has increased considerably. In this process, leadership behaviors have become a subject that is highly examined. In today's competitive environment, in organizations that want to use human resources effectively leadership is vital. From the private sector to public institutions, from non-governmental organizations to friend environments, there is a leadership concept in every community. The issue of leadership is also very important for the political parties that aspire to the administration of the country. In this study, political parties, which are a non-governmental organization in which people participate on a voluntary basis and work without any financial interest, are examined. It was investigated whether the charismatic leadership perceptions of the political party members differed according to their demographic characteristics. It was analyzed whether members' perceptions of charismatic leadership affect their organizational citizenship behaviors. The research was conducted on political party members who have provincial presidencies in Kastamonu province and participated in the 2018 Presidential elections. Participants were given survey forms that measured their charismatic leadership perceptions and organizational citizenship behaviors and these forms were analyzed in SPSS. As a result of the study, 394 participants participated in the study, it was concluded that the participants' perceptions of charismatic leadership differed partially according to their educational level and differed significantly according to the political parties they joined. There was no result that participants' charismatic leadership perceptions differ according to their age, gender and longest-lived settlement. In addition, it was found that the participants' perceptions of charismatic leadership partially affected organizational citizenship behaviors.
