Abstract (EN)
Shear Strength is the most important factor that affects the stability of soils. Shear strength of compacted soils is directly affected by water content, plasticity index and compressive energy. In this study, the effect of different compaction energies on shear strength parameters of engineered fills are investigated by unconfined pressure test and unconsolidated undrained test for in-situ compacted clay soils. In addition, soil samples were re-compacted by standard proctor test at optimum moisture content, and shear parameters are compared. Soils classifications are determined by liquid limit, plastic limit and granulometry tests. Test results show that, types of soils are CH and CL, When the results of the experiments on the samples were compared, it was found that the compression done by using the Single Drum Roller Compactor (SDR) was lower than the compression using the Polygonal Drum Roller Compactor (PDR). it was found to be better than. Samples with 8 pass were found to have higher bearing capacity compared to the samples with 4 pass. Therefore, as the number of pass increases, the bearing capacity of the floor is increased.
