Abstract (EN)
Aim: In this study; it has been aimed that to evaluate five different restorative materials' stress analysis under compressive load with Finite Element Method. Material and Method: In this study; five different restorative materials which used in class V cavitites in first mandibular molar teeth stress analysis evaluated with finite element method. Group1: amalgam, Group 2: Clearfil photo core, Group 3: filtek Z 100, Group 4: grandio and Group 5:filtek supreme XT. Teeth were modeled as enamel, dentin and restoration parts as three layers. Standard class V cavities were developed on the teeth. Two different cavity floor were modeled as rounded and straight. Loading was performed from two differnt angle as 90 and 45 degrees on the thooth. Each load value was 250N (Newton). 250 N load is spread over 3 areas on teeth (enamel,dentin and restoration). In this study; stresses on enamel, dentin and restoration was calculated and accepted as equivalent Von-mises stress. Rhinoceros 4.0 software was used for modeling. Two different load from 90 and 45 degrees applied all restorations and these loads separately applied to rounded and straight cavities and obtained 4 different results.For each restoration, enamel and dentin;20 different result and totally 60 differnt results were obtained. Results: In the study that was evaluated five different restorative materials' stress analysis with finite element method; loads from different directions caused different stresses. When all groups were analysed stressses in enamel and dentin were similar. In restorations; amalgam group had a higher stress values from the other groups. Minimum stress values determined in Filtek Z 100 group. It was determined that stresses which caused from 45 degrees are up to 3 times than causes from 90 degrees. Conclusions: According to this study's results Filtek z 100 was found the most convenient restorative material in all groups. Stress values in amalgam groups were higher than the other groups. Rounded cavities had less stress values from the straight cavitites.
