Abstract (EN)

Many additives are used in the processing of foods to obtain healty food. Food additives the substances that are added during the processing and transportation of foodare called as food additives . The purpose of using food additives is to prevent contamination of food from various sources and factors. Food additives are classified as preservatives, nutritional additives, coloring agents, flavoring agents, texturizing agents and various substances. Sodium Benzoate (SB), one of the food additives, is defined as the sodium salt of benzoic acid, which is generally used in alcoholic beverages, fruit and vegetable juices, carbonated soft drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, conserves, various sauces, and cosmetics products to inhibit the formation of mold, yeast and bacteria. Excess consumption of each substance shows toxic effects. Some of the chemicals added to processed foods are considered ethically problematic. There are many concerns about the use of SB as a food additive. This study was designed to observe the possible side effects and possible consequences of Sodium Benzoate from food additives by testing and screening angiogenesis and oxidant-antioxidant activities using the chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) model in chicken embryos.
