Abstract (EN)
Recently, Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) processes became by dating applications have intensively been used in dosimetry. Since decay shape, dose and temperature dependence and dose stable of OSL signals have altered according to materials, the determination of this feature is important to provide information about materials. Quartz and synthetic materials displaying fine luminescence characteristics have commonly been applied at OSL technics in the literature. In this study, firstly, ELSEC-OSL 9010 Read Systems used for feldspar samples have been modified to measure OSL from materials that can be stimulated with visible light same as quartz, Al2O3:C etc. Then OSL characteristics like decay curves, dose response, temperature dependence and dose stable of Alkali Halide (especially NaCl and KCl) with chlorine component in commercials quality have been investigated. Besides, OSL characteristics of materials using Curve-Fitting, Peak-Shape and Initial-Rise methods have been investigated by depending on laboratory radiation doses and temperature. vii In conclusion, the activation energy of NaCl decrease with the increase of dose, and decay constant of NaCl decrease in different radiation type as dose increase. Also it has been seen that OSL signals of NaCl is more stable, reliable and acceptable than other materials used in this work. Key words : luminescence dosimetry, infrared stimulated luminescence (IRSL), blue light stimulated luminescence (BSL), equivalent dose, activation energy, thermal annealing
