Abstract (EN)

In order to examine the relationship between job stress levels of social service professionals and burnout symptoms and job satisfaction, a descriptive research model based on quantitative research method was adopted. Since descriptive research aims to define the current situation and reveal the relationships between variables, it was chosen as an appropriate method for this study. The study was conducted within the framework of a cross-sectional design and evaluated the situations of the participants in a certain period of time. The universe of the study consists of professionals working in the field of social service. Since the universe is large, the appropriate sampling method was used for sample selection. In the study, convenience sampling method was preferred and the data collection process was carried out on a voluntary basis. The sample consists of 139 professionals working in Social Service Centers, boarding institutions and other social service institutions. The demographic and professional characteristics of the participants ( age, gender, marital status, education level, having children, presence of a family member requiring care, chronic disease status, type of institution/organization worked, staff status and term of office) are presented in detail in the findings section of the study. In the study, three basic scales were used to measure the participants' job stress, job satisfaction and burnout levels. In addition, a personal information form was applied to collect demographic and professional information. Data were collected from professionals working in social service institutions using a survey method. Participants were informed about the purpose of the study and confidentiality principles, and participation was provided on a voluntary basis. The data collection process was carried out in accordance with ethical rules, and care was taken to protect the participants' personal data. The study aims to determine the relationships between job stress, burnout, and job satisfaction levels among professionals working in the field of social services, and to examine whether these variables differ significantly based on demographic and professional characteristics.
