Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this study is to reveal the dimensions of social studies teachers interactions in teacher communities on social networks and to contribute to the studies in the field of social studies. The method of this study is netnography, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The Social Studies Information and Visual Archive group constitutes the sample of this research. This group is a teacher group with the highest number of members in the field of Social Studies. The number of members at the time the researcher became a member is 24,190. In this research, all the content shared by the working group between January 1, 2020 and February 29, 2020 were considered as data. The result of the study was explained to the members via Google Form. The results of the study and the answers given by the members were compared. In the light of all the findings, social studies teacher groups in Facebook have rules. these rules are written rules and unwritten rules. These groups come together for a common purpose, there are traces of digital culture and they create traces of digital culture with content. Moreover, Facebook reinforces this situation. Finally, social studies teachers interact with visual and audio media posts.
