Turkey's border treaties and their present practices in the context of kin and related communities (1918 - 1926)

The borders of the countries and the communities divided by these borders, especially in the last century, costantly, is a point of order through newly established states, wars and clashes. Peoples and communities, coexisted under the same roof within the Ottoman Empire for centuries, have remained within the sovereignty of other countries, through new treaties, borders or established their own states and drew the borders. This thesis, tries to examine the articles directly related to communities with kin and related communities who had lived in territories of Ottoman Empire then entered into the sovereignty of other countries within the historical period from the armistice of Moudros, October 30, 1918 to treaty of Ankara, 1926 in the basis of treaties determining east, west and south borders of Turkey. The thesis also tries to evaluate the present situtation of Turkey in the context of relevant articles.
