Abstract (EN)
This study examines the relationship between prosocial behaviors and emotional intelligence levels of students studying in sports high schools in Turkey. The research reveals that sports education increases students' emotional intelligence and this increase has a positive effect on prosocial behaviors. By evaluating the potential of sports activities to strengthen students' social skills, empathy skills and teamwork, it is emphasized how the relationship between emotional intelligence and prosocial behaviors is shaped by various factors. It shows that educators need to re-evaluate the role of sports in education and develop strategies to maximize their impact on student development.
