Researching effects of sport on 8 years old group childrens basic motor development educated in primary education

The main purpose of this study was to investigate, the motor development levels of the 8 age group children in Edremit-Balıkesir district.The participated as test subject from Edremit-Balıkesir district, 100 children; Mehmet Akif Primary School 50 ( 25 maid- 25 boy), Özcan Primary School 50 (25 maid- 25 boy). The participant children in the experiment group are subjected to locomotor and object control tests according to the TGMD-2 test.During the measurements; the object control abilities, (Hitting the motionless ball with a stick, Standing dribbling, Catching, Hitting ball by foot, Throwing from upper level of the waist, Throwing from lower level of the waist) and fundamental loco motor abilities (running, hopping, jumping, standing broad jumping, sliding, gallop) are performed by the hole participants by repeating twice and the successful or unsuccessful abilities they have are determined. With the final score evaluated by giving ?1? point for the abilities they were successful with respect to their criteria?s and by giving ?0? point for the abilities they were unsuccessful, the achievement level for that ability is obtained.With the help of study results, defining the fundamental motoric features with respect to personal abilities and sexualities of the children, who complete the basic motions term and take place in the transition period to the sportive motions term, will have a great contribution in canalizing them to the particular sport branches. By performing the common used test in scientific studies TGMD II, on the one hand the standards for the Turkish children are formed and on the other hand the progress of fundamental motoric features between children with respect to training and untraning( sedanter) can be observed.
