Abstract (EN)

This study, which investigates the physical properties of Al-doped ZnO thin films produced by the spray pyrolysis method, highlights the importance of ZnO in electronic and optoelectronic applications. ZnO's wide band gap, high electron mobility, and excellent chemical stability make this material indispensable for such applications. The effects of Aluminum (Al) doping on ZnO have been examined in terms of structural, morphological, optical, and electrical properties. ZnO thin films were deposited on glass substrates using the spray pyrolysis method, and XRD, SEM, EDS, and various optical and electrical measurement techniques were employed for characterization. Structural analyses showed that Al doping improved the crystal structure of ZnO and increased grain size. Morphological analyses revealed the smoothness and homogeneity of the films, which enhances their application potential. Optical measurements indicated that Al doping widened the band gap and increased optical transparency. Electrical measurements demonstrated that the electrical conductivity of Al-doped ZnO films was significantly improved. In conclusion, the superior physical properties of Al-doped ZnO thin films make these materials a potential candidate for electronic and optoelectronic devices. These findings clearly reveal the potential use of Al-doped ZnO thin films in advanced electronic and optoelectronic applications.
