Abstract (EN)

In this study, Stachys lavandulifolia Vahl. plant belonging to Lamiaceae (Labiatae) family was collected from 7 different locations in June 2019 and the samples obtained were examined in view of morphology and chemical. Essential oils of these plant specimens were obtained from above ground parts. The qualitative and quantitative composition of essential oils was determined by using GC and GC-MS (Gas chromatography-Mass spectrometry) system. The habitat characteristics of the species were determined and compared with the literatures. Essential oil results were also compared with the literature and the results were discussed chemotaxonomically. There is not much difference between the morphological / morphometric studies of the samples taken from Elazığ and surroundings populations of Stachys lavandulifolia and chemical essential oil analyzes and general morphological characters coincide with discription of the flora of Turkey and also some quantitative and qualitative differences were found in essential oil analyzes.
