Abstract (EN)
The electrochemical characteristics of Etofenamate active ingredient, a member of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug Group, were investigated as part of this thesis study with differential pulse and square-wave methods in a PBS (pH: 3.0) medium using pencil graphite electrodes. In the differential pulse voltammetry measurements for the drug containing the etofenamate active ingredient, a reversible peak was observed in Ia (13.330 μA and 0.471 V) current and voltage and an irreversible peak was observed in IIa (26.880 μA and 1.023 V) current and voltage. Then, with the characterized device parameters, a linear working range between 0.034 μM and 0.306 μM was obtained in the PBS (pH: 3.0) medium and LOD value was calculated as 0.0011 μM (0.406 μg L-1). It can be concluded from the results that the voltammetric technique developed using pencil graphite electrodes has good analytical linearity and sensitivity.
