Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficiency of 40 Universities in Turkey by using Stochastic Frontier Analysis. To do this, two models were constructed depending on education and publish performances and were analyzed to calculate the efficiencies using FRONTIER Version 4.1 computer program. After that the general efficiency score for each university was calculated as the mean of the calculated efficiency scores according to the constructed two models. The general efficiency scores for each university indicated that Middle East Technical University had the highest general efficiency score in all the universities while the Balıkesir University?s general efficiency score was the lowest.
