Abstract (EN)
Although the electromagnetic spectrum is broad, the narrow frequency bands used for telecommunications increase the significance of filters used in systems. Additionally, the advancements, and innovations in 4G and 5G communication systems reveal the requirement of filters that are compact, low-cost, and highly selective. Components that can filter both 4G and 5G frequency bands simultaneously play a significant role in telecommunication applications. In this thesis, bandpass filters for frequency bands in 4G and 5G communication systems are designed using Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) and Complementary Split Ring Resonator (CSRR) technologies. The main reason for using these technologies in the design is to provide compact, high-performance, and low-cost solutions compared to other methods. The analyses and simulations in this design are accomplished using CST Microwave Studio. During the study, simulation results are analyzed and discussed, and the best result is obtained.
