Abstract (EN)

Qualitative research method was used in this study to determine to what extent children's rights to life, development, protection and participation were included in the works written by Süleyman Bulut for children. Document analysis technique was used to collect data. The sample of the research consists of fourteen books written by Süleyman Bulut in the genres of novels, short stories and compilations. Content analysis and descriptive analysis techniques were used to examine the data obtained from the books. It was observed that the books examined mostly included explanations about children's development, survival and participation rights. In this context, it would be beneficial to include books that include children's rights to life, development, protection and participation among the recommended books in schools, in order to raise awareness of children about their rights and to reinforce children's rights education in schools. In addition, increasing the level of inclusion of explanations about children's rights to protection in accordance with their age in children's books will help children learn about children's rights in all their dimensions.
