Abstract (EN)
As the world population increases, consumption increases in every field. Energy is needed in almost every field and it is important that this energy is renewable and clean energy. One of the environmental steps taken in the field of aviation is the improvement of the propulsion systems and fuels used. For this purpose, the use of electrical energy, which is a more sustainable option instead of energy obtained from fossil fuels and harmful to the environment, is becoming widespread. In order for electrical energy to be used efficiently, it must be stored. The use of batteries as energy storage technology in electric vehicles can have negative consequences for the environment. However, there is no environmentally friendly technology that can replace the battery. Battery usage can be reduced by extending the life of the batteries. In this thesis, energy storage technologies used in aviation are examined in terms of micro/mini unmanned aerial vehicles, and the use of these technologies in hybrid form for the next generation hybrid propulsion system architectures proposed for aviation is examined. In this thesis, hybrid use of battery and super capacitor is run in MATLAB/Simulink software and the results are interpreted.
