Abstract (EN)
Relativistic electron beam obtained from superconducting linear accelerator radiates a sudden undulator magnet radiation along magnet axis when it is passed through magnet and the spreading radiation trapped between two mirrors interacts with electron packets which penetrate subsequently into undulator magnet. A coherent radiation occurs as a result of this interaction between the magnetic field of the electron with the electron packets and this radiation is called the Free Electron Laser. In this study, pumb probe technique and the experiements, which will be hold on with this technique, are described to use in non-linear optic laboratory (one of the experiement laboratories), will be set in the facility called Turkish Accelerator Center Infrared Free Electron Laser that is still being set up with the support of the State Planning Organisation and is coordinated by the University of Ankara. The design and features of non-linear optic laboratories to be establish in Turkish Accelerator Center and the experimental tools that can be used in experiments to be done here is described in detail. Finally, the accelerator facilities that do researches with IR SEL obtained from linear accelerator by using pump probe technique ?HZDR (Germany), CLIO (France), FELIX (Netherlands), FELSUT (Japane)? are examined. The researches made by using pump probe technique in these centers are summarized.
