Abstract (EN)

To cut a long story short, the developed prototype could be classified as easy to use, with less radiation exposure, low cost, accurate, less time-consuming, less reliance on human individual skills, and single puncture attempt guiding device. The whole of those advantages are obtained from the results of the performed phantom study. According to those Promising initial results of phantom experiments, it could be declared that the first two stages of our working plan are done; it is necessary to move forward to perform the remaining stages. Experiments on laboratory animals and other needed invivo experiments to get more actual and detailed results about procedure time, radiation exposure dose, and accuracy in comparison to other sensor-based techniques, robotic-based techniques, and freehand conventional methods. It is also recommended to use original sensors instead of third-party used sensors to get more accurate results. In addition to modifying the mobile application, wireless connection, size, and useable materials to make it a more applicable and ergonomic device. Also, another positioning sensor, such as GPS, could be added to get more detailed results about the depth that will be an added value to the designed needle orientation system. In addition to integrated whole the newly designed system in a micro-scale device.
