Abstract (EN)
In this study, mechanical behaviors of laminated composite plates under low-velocity impact loads have been investigated using ANSYS ® LS-DYNA finite element software. The laminated composite plate having circular hole is repaired with composite patch with using various adhesives. Impact behavior of the laminated composite plate is analyzed for different strikers having various geometries and velocity. The plate material is laminated composite plate having [0°/45°/45°/ 0°] orientation angle. The composite patch is reinforced in [0°/45°] angles. The effect of adhesive material, adhesive thickness, hole size, hole shape, the patch material, thickness of the patch, patch size, boundary conditions of composite plate and striker geometry on contact forces is determined. Obtained results are represented with graphs. Keywords: Laminated composite plates, finite element method, low velocity impact, contact force.
