Abstract (EN)
Both the life and the Works of Tahsin Yücel is a proffessor in the field of French Language and Literature and who has a versatile personality have been investigated. Tahsin Yücel who has written a lot of short stories, novels,essays,reviews and made translations, started his career with the story entitled ?Uçan Daireler? which was published in 1954. In this study, I not only focus on his Works especially on his novels and stories but also work on his identity as a critic and an academician. The aim of this study is to determine his role in the history of literature through an analysis of his Works. This survey has eight main headlines. 1- Tahsin Yücel?s life, identity as a writer and Works 2- Thematic and Structural investigation of Tahsin Yücel?s stories 3- Thematic and Structural investigation of Tahsin Yücel?s novels 4-Essays 5- Translations 6-Language and wording 7-Result 8-Bibliography
