An application on team based performance administration

There are many researches about teamwork and performance management systems in the literature. However not so many researches have been conducted about the effectiveness of Team Based Performance Management Systems. In this thesis firstly Team Based Performance Management Systems and the process of building and applying them have been analyzed methodically. Then are search has been conducted on the IT companies which have performance management systems and which are also among the biggest 500 according to the Istanbul Chamber of Industry records when their sales from production is analyzed. The objective of this research is to determine which of the criteria that make the performance management systems team based, produce effective results .in creating teamwork and to determine which team competencies these criteria contribute to. The results of this research can be found in detail in this thesis. However as a similary it was found out that Team Based Performance Management System only ıncrease the efectivenes of specific team competetencies and inorder to maintain this results also have to be given on team basis.
