A qualitative research on the factors which effect the success of teamwork

Firms are able to gain more productivity out of their resources through teamwork. The principle reason for this, is that teamwork produces a result that is more effective than the components of which it is composed. However, every teamwork process does not guarantee positive outcomes. The positive outcomes mentioned are closely related to the success and efficiency of the teamwork process.Those factors which can be distinguished as the affecting ones on the success of teamwork are, trust, communication, authority, roles, aims and goals. Indeed, according to the results of my research, successful teams contain all of the factors which are mentioned. The members of the successful teams clearly stated the necessity of these factors. In addition to these five factors, members having a common past and being a volunteer on the team are the other factors which affect the success of a team.
