Abstract (EN)

The purpose of the Just-In-Time manufacturing system (JIT) is tominimize the each activities which don?t add value to finished products.Because of this purpose , while the finished products are manufacturedin small lots, the raw materials are procured in small lots too. In thisway, it minimizes inventory and inventory holding cost . In this study, itis considered the batch size problem for JIT manufacturing system anda resultant batch size model which is considered the raw material andfinished products is developed to analyse the relationship between theprocurement of raw materials and the delivery of the finished products.The solutions of the model has been compared the similar studies inliterature by using both experimental data and real system data. It hasbeen determined the developed mathematical model contains the othermodel?s solutions %100 and also on some data sets the solutions of themodel is better than the others.
