Abstract (EN)
This thesis aims to explore the emergence of the Sufi theme in cinema. As such, it will venture into the cinematic universe to analyse how the director(s) creatively implemented the thematical references of the Sufi in their films. Thus, the thesis shall revolve around the topic of spirituality and Islam as the core basis of Sufi. Furthermore, the paper shall cover ways in which Sufi can be applied in a person's life. This paper will indicate the core principles of Sufi as portrayed in the films.
