Abstract (EN)
This study on the Tülek epic consists of four chapters: In the introduction of our study is given about the Tatar epic tradition, epic narrators, the Tatar the classification of epics. In the first part, covering the geography and epoch of the epic, and also information on the studies. In the second part, the Tülek epic is analyzed and the plot of the epic, its language and style, and its textual features are studied. In addition, comparison according to the episodes of the four variations of the epic reached today are in this chapter. In the third part, according to the Motif Index of Folk Literature by Stith Thompson, motifs in the epic have been presented with their number in the index. In the fourth part, the transliteration of the epic is given and the epic is translated into modern Turkish. Also, this study includes a dictionary and bibliography.Key Words1.The Tatar Turks2.
