Imam al-Matridi is considered one of the most important scholars of theology in the Islamic world and The his interpretation " TE'VİLATU EHLİ'S-SÜNNE " is one of his most important books. So It was necessary to conduct a linguistic study on this interpretation. Aftar that i satrt read this interpretation To extract what in this interpretation Of linguistic issues that has been this interpreter said in his interpretation To help him prove his opinion. This study revealed the extent to which Imam Al-Matridi was able to deal with linguistic issues such as Morphology ,Syntax and Semantics. And revealed the extent of the proximity of Imam Al-Matridi in his views of the language, the views of the scholars of the Arabic language such as ferra ,ibn faris and seebevih. And the proximity of what he went to the interpreters such as Abu Hayyan Andalusian Imam Fakhruddin Razi and Ibn Attia and other interpreters. This research is in three chapters The first cahpter wsa in Morphology issues, the second one in syntax and the third was in semantics.as Synonymy and homonymy ect. The most important results was reached are: - The adoption of Imam al-Matridi in many places on the linguistic issues in his interpretation. - Language issues were important in proving his opinion. - The linguists agreed in the linguistic opinions that he said in his interpretation.
