Abstract (EN)
Nowadays, reduction of greenhouse gases (global warming) that one of the most important causes of climate change has become one of the common share of international community. Burning reaction caused by motor vehicle, warm and industry occur greenhouse effect. Motor land vehicles are the most important producers of these harmful emissions. Systems using electric have begun to spread instead of systems using fossil fuels in order to eliminate and decrease these emissions on the environment and ecosystem. For this purpose, studies on electric vehicles have increased in recent years. Nowadays, permanent magnet direct current motors have high power density per unit volume. Additionally, maintenance requirements of these motors are low and they can be operated in dusty and explosive areas. Permanent magnet direct current motors commonly used according to other motors because of all these advantages of the motor. In recent years, China has become permanent magnet market. Used radioactive material and the toxic acids negatively affect human health when these magnets are produced. Therefore, the World Health Organization has involved production of these motors. Therefore, the literature studies on electric vehicles have focused on brushless systems to use of synchronous motors instead of permanent magnet motor. Rotating transformer and single phase matrix converter supplying this transformer have begun to be investigated for brushless system in the literature. Additionally, single phase matrix converters have started to be considered in induction heating systems in recent years because they have not DC link capacitor. Advantages of single phase matrix converter compared to single phase inverter have been presented and circuit topology of single-phase matrix converter has been given in this study. Operating states as AC-AC frequency converter and AC-DC rectifier of single phase matrix converter have been analyzed. Additionally, without safe commutation model has been investigated for the single phase matrix converter and different from literature an approach has been improved to obtain safe commutation. It has been seen that the safe commutation model in the literature operates accurate if output frequency is multiples of input frequency. A new dead time algorithm has been developed for this drawback annihilate.
