Abstract (EN)

This study investigates the relationship between Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) scores and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices in technology companies. In the contemporary business environment, corporate success is not solely measured by financial performance but also by sustainability-focused strategies. This research aims to analyze the impact of ESG scores on CSR practices and evaluate their implications for corporate sustainability goals. The study first provides a theoretical framework for ESG and CSR through an extensive literature review and details the specific applications within the technology sector. Quantitative research methods were employed, with data collected from a sector-based sample. Correlation and regression analyses were conducted to examine the interplay between ESG scores and CSR practices. The findings reveal that companies with higher ESG scores demonstrate more effective CSR practices, which positively influence societal trust and stakeholder engagement. Furthermore, the relationship between ESG and CSR varies across subsectors, indicating the influence of industry-specific characteristics. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the need for a holistic approach that integrates ESG and CSR in the sustainability strategies of technology companies. The synergy between these two concepts contributes significantly to long-term corporate success. Additionally, the research highlights the transformative role of digitalization in shaping this relationship, offering valuable insights for industry stakeholders.
