Abstract (EN)

The aim of this thesis study; this study aims to examine the self-confidence and university degrees of the students who study at the faculties of sports sciences and who are evaluated in tennis, swimming and football branches. The students who study in the faculties of sports sciences in the research room consist of 318 students who study at Trabzon University, Ondokuz Mayıs University, Fırat University, Kafkas University and İnönü University Sports Sciences Faculty. In the research, the "Personal Information Form" produced by the researcher, the Self-Confidence Scale obtained by Akın (2007), and the General Self-Efficacy Scale used by Schwarzer and Jerusalem (1995) and adapted into Turkish by Aypay (2010) was used. Whether or not the total scores of the scale show according to gender, type of sport, attending kindergarten, and weight of alcohol use. This study aims to evaluate whether it evaluates the income status according to variables such as one-way analysis of variance and Tukey's multiple comparison test. While there was no excessive difference between the self-efficacy and self-confidence assumptions in the variables of internal gender, age, going to kindergarten, alcohol use, choosing the branches taken at the end, income status, the type of sport that he was interested in during the university period, how many years he was interested in the branches that were terminated, his last branches, In the variables according to how many semesters they earn from their branches and the departments they studied, it was determined as one-way among those with self-efficacy and self-confidence. As a result, it has been observed that the preferred branches, department, last branches, and the welcome time of the students who take it, as a result, are in a close environment with self-confidence and self-efficacy. It is important to increase the self-confidence and self-efficacy levels of the students who study in the sports management department, who are specialized in the football branch, who are interested in the branch for more than 4-5 years, and who take the specialization course for more than one semester, in terms of prestige and success in individuals. A coach whose self-confidence has increased has a strong communication with his student and can pave the way for the training of more successful athletes. It has been concluded that individuals who prefer the tennis branch, take the specialization course for one semester, and are educated in the recreation department have higher levels of self-confidence and self-efficacy.
