Abstract (EN)

There are many theories used in calculating pile bearing capacity. The bearing capacity of a pile values calculated with the formulas suggested in these theories give different results from each other. This situation creates confusion in the engineers who make the project and direct then to the project with high safety factors. Thus, piles are not economically viable. In addition, since this calculation is not considered sufficient, control is made with pile loading tests. In this study, pile-bearing capacities of piles with different lengths and diameters, manufactured on different soils, based on the pile-loading test and different theories were examined. The "Static Pile Loading" test was applied to the piles manufactured and the "Ultimate Pile Bearing Capacity" of the piles was determined from this test. Pile loading tests were carried out by authorized laboratory organizations. Then, the bearing capacities and settlements were calculated according to theoretical methods in the soil profile where the piles were loaded with the loading test. The bearing capacities obtained with the help of these theoretical formulas and the bearing capacity and settlements obtained from the settlement and loading test performed by the piles were compared. As a result of the comparison made, the theoretical bearing capacity closest to the experimental bearing capacity was determined.
