Abstract (EN)

Honeymoon tourism is an experience that individuals can only experience once in a lifetime and that they attach great importance to. Couples on honeymoon vacation expect elements that will make their experience unforgettable. Tourism actors strive to provide services that will make this experience special and meet the expectations of couples. It is thought that a positive honeymoon vacation experience will positively affect tourists' behavioral intentions. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to determine the impact of honeymoon tourists' experiences on behavioral intentions when visiting thermal hotels. A quantitative approach was adopted in the study. The data were collected from 389 tourists who visited thermal hotel establishments in Afyonkarahisar by questionnaire technique. In the study, it was determined that tourist experience positively affects behavioral intention. It was concluded that the dimensions of hedonism, participation, meaningfulness, and novelty, which constitute the memorable tourism experiences of honeymoon tourists staying in thermal hotels, have a significant effect on behavioral intention, while the dimensions of refreshment, local people, and information do not have a statistically significant effect on behavioral intention.
