Abstract (EN)

In this research, two new methacrylate monomers were synthesized first time.One of them was DMPAMA monomer and the other one was POEMO monomer.After that,each monomers were carried out in 1,4 dioxane solution at 65 oC±1 using 2,2-azobisisobutyronitrille(AIBN)as an initiator at N2gasatmosphere and polymerization was completed.The free radicalcopolymerization of DMPAMA with POEMO has been carried out in 1, 4-dioxane solution at 65 oC±1 using 2,2'-azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) as an initiator with different monomer-to-monomer ratios in the feed. The monomers and copolymers were characterized by FTIR, 1H-and 13C-NMR spectral studies. 1H-NMR was used to determine the molar fractions of DMPAMA and POEMO in the copolymers. The monomer –reactivity ratios were calculated according to the general copolymerization equation using Kelen-Tüdõs and Finemann-Ross linearization methods.
