The forms of negativity and absence in the work of tevârih-i Al-i Selçuk

In this study, the forms of negativity and absence in Tevari-i Al-i Selçuk are identified, analyzed and analyzed. The aim of the study is to evaluate and classify the negativity and absence suffixes in Yazıcızade Ali's Tevarih-i Al-i Selçuk in terms of semantics, morphology and syntax. The study consists of three parts: introduction, analysis and conclusion. In the introduction part, information about Yazıcızade Ali's life, literary personality and works is given and then a general information about negativity and absence suffixes is given. In the analysis part of the study; negativity in verbs, negativity in compound tenses, negativity and absence in nouns, absence in adjectives, negativity in verbs, negativity in prepositions and prepositional phrases are classified and analyzed under six headings and exemplified with sentences. In addition, phrase and sentence structures that do not have any negativity marker, that is, express a negative meaning without any negativity suffix, have been identified and classified under the title of negativity in terms of semantics and exemplified with sentences. In the conclusion part of the study, a general evaluation of the negativity and absence suffixes analyzed and identified in the work was made with numerical data and these evaluations were written in the conclusion part.
