Abstract (EN)

Structural and electronic properties of the adsorption of armchair (3,3) and (6,6) single walled carbon nanotubes on the reconstructed (1 2) rutile (110) titania (TiO2) surface were investigated using ab initio density functional theory. The atomic structures and the other important parameters of the obtained stable surfaces and the chemically adsorbed carbon nanotubes were discussed. The electronic band structures and the orbital nature of the surface states were also characterized.
