Abstract (EN)

Thiosemicarbazones are compounds formed by the reaction of thiosemicarbazide compounds with aldehydes or ketones and are of interest due to their biological activity properties. In the scope of the study, 10 (ten) new thiasemicarbazone compounds (MeTSC-CH3, MeTSC-Cl, PhTSC-CH3, PhTSC-Cl, MTSC-Br, MTSC-Cl, MTSC-CH3, FTSC-Br, FTSC-Cl, FTSC-CH3) were synthesized from the condensation reaction of 2-aminothiazole-5-carboxaldehyde, thiosemicarbazide compounds (4-methyl-3-thiosemicarbazide, 4-phenylthiosemicarbazide) and benzaldehyde derivatives (5-fluoro-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde, 5-fluoro-2-hydroxy-3-methylbenzaldehyde, 3-chloro-5-fluorosalicylaldehyde, 5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde, 5-chlorosalicylaldehyde, 2-hydroxy-5-methylbenzaldehyde). The structures of the obtained thiazole-containing thiosemicarbazone compounds were characterized by spectroscopic methods (element analysis, FTIR, 1H-NMR, SEM-EDX, and HRMS).
