Abstract (EN)

The Şehname-i Selim Han manuscript, which is registered in the 3rd Ahmet Library (3595) of the Topkapı Palace Museum, was writen by Seyyid Lokman in Persian and as in verse. The subject of the manuscript is the events from Sultan Selim II's accession to the throne until his death. There are 44 miniatures in the work.It is known that the miniatures depicted were made by a team including Miniature Artist (Miniaturist) Osman and Miniature Artist Ali. However, there are miniatures in the manuscript whose artist is not known. In this context, it is important to determine different artist styles by examining the figures in miniatures. When the miniatures depicted with figures in the Selim Han manuscript were examined, it has been tried to explain the stylistic variations by dividing them into groups. In the thesis study,it has been aimed at examining the figures in the miniatures which have taken place in the Şehname-i Selim Han manuscript.
