The examination of the total quality management orianted leadership and an explanation

In this 21st century that we live, in order to establishments to be successful in their studies, Total Quality Management (TQM) and the concept of leadership have a great importance. Therefore, qualified managers as leaders are needed in order to achieve their goals in a globalizing world.In this study, Total Quality Management Oriented Leadership Model is intended to investigate. In addition, there has also made an application as analysing a company. This company is the Kordsa Global Endüstriyel İplik ve Kordbezi Sanayi A.Ş., which is a corporate leader company in Turkey with producing industrial nylon and polyester yarn, tire cord fabric and single end cord. The connection with this company is provided via Filiz Akgül. In the first phase of this project, the concepts and the development of total quality management(TQM) are described with mentioning the total quality management process and discussing the items in TQM. In the second stage, leadership models that are suitable to TQM are examined. In the last stage, Kordsa Global Endüstriyel İplik ve Kordbezi Sanayi A.Ş. is analysed in terms of the leadership model in Total Quality Management. In conclusion, it has been achieved that Kordsa Global Endüstriyel İplik ve Kordbezi Sanayi A.Ş. which is examined in this project, is successful to apply the TQM elements.
