Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, using the summability process given by Bell we study on the approximation to a function and its derivatives by means of a wider class of linear operators than a family of positive linear operators. Our results improve not only Baskakov's idea, but also the Korovkin theory based on positive linear operators. Finally, in order to show why we need such a study, we display a specific sequence of approximating operator to derivative of a function by the summability method but not in the classical sense, by plotting their graphs.
